NAV Newsletter 1981 – 2013
When the Australian Numismatist became a biannual, and eventually an annual publication, the NAV decided to issue a quarterly newsletter to keep members up to date with news, the forward syllabus and details of what transpired during meetings.
The final seven editions of this newsletter, issues 125 to 131, were published digitally and are hereby made available to members. This newsletter merged in with the Australian Numismatist journal, which resulted in the final issues of the Australian Numismatist (below) before being superseded by the Victorian Numismatic Journal.
Australian Numismatist 2014 – 2015
In 2014 we ceased production of our annual journal and incorporated the content in to our quarterly newsletter. This arrangement lasted for eight issues (below) with publication of the Australian Numismatist ceasing at the end of 2015.
The NAV’s publications were superseded by the Victorian Numismatic Journal (VNJ), a joint publication with the Geelong, Morwell and Melbourne Numismatic Societies, which commenced in 2016.
